GENERAL QUESTIONS:

When is Cheer season?

Traditional: July - Mid November/December

How are the teams divided?

Jr. Warriors - Ages 3 & 4 (as of July 1st)
D-6 - Ages 5 & 6 (as of July 1st)
D-8 - Ages 7 & 8 (as of July 1st)
D-10 - Ages 9 & 10 (as of July 1st)
D-12 - Ages 11 & 12 (as of July 1st)
D-14 - Ages 13 & 14 (as of July 1st)

How do parents keep abreast of what's going on?

Check  our Water-Oak Football & Cheer website and our Facebook page on a regular basis. When registering, make sure you provide your e-mail address and cell phone number to receive notices about the various team and league activities.  

Is there a mandatory fundraiser?

 In order to help keep costs down, Water-Oak Football & Cheer requires that each player participates raffle. Each player is required to sell 20 tickets. Tickets are $5.00 a piece.

Can I volunteer?

Water-Oak Football & Cheer depends on volunteers to coach, manage teams and coordinate all aspects of the program. We welcome your input and time to make the program fun, challenging, and rewarding for the players.

REGISTRATION QUESTIONS:

How much is Cheer registration?

$300. There is an additional uniform fee of up to $150.

Why is registration in the spring for the fall season?

While it seems early, there are a number of items that must be completed in spring/summer including team submission to the leagues, uniform and equipment ordering as well as coordinating field time with the town.

What is the deadline for registration?

Registration deadline dates vary season. Check info on registration page for late fee date and registration closing date. 

What is the Water-Oak Football & Cheer Refund policy?

Prior to the first practice in July, full refund of registration fees. If after the first practice and within the first week of practice (M-F), 1/2 refund of registration fees. After the first week of practice, no refund.

What happens after I register my player?

Water-Oak Football & Cheer needs a complete doctors consent form (include medical insurance), a birth certificate, a participant application signed by both player and parent, a copy of end of year report card. *No refund will be honored until ALL equipment or uniform pieces have been received by Water-Oak Football & Cheer.*

CHEERLEADER QUESTIONS:

What equipment does my cheerleader need?

Competition sneakers, competition socks, game bows, competition bows, game uniform (kept at the end of year).

Can I purchase additional equipment for my cheerleader?

Wind pants, Water-Oak Cheer jackets are available.
